1. This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for data processing within the website https://pure-stone.org/ (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”), which is operated by the following entity: PURESTONE FOUNDATION with its registered office in Wrocław, 50-116 at ul. 2. The Service uses cookies. The scope of their use depends on your browser settings and the consents you may grant when managing cookie settings on our website.

What are cookies and for what purposes are they used? These are small pieces of information, called cookies, sent by the Foundation’s website that you visit and saved on your end device (computer, laptop, smartphone) which you use as a User while browsing the Service.

The “cookies”, consisting of a series of letters and numbers, contain various information necessary for the proper functioning of the Service. The Service can function properly thanks to the use of “cookies”. Cookies allow, among other things, to remember your preferences and personalize the displayed content.

Personal data collected using “cookies” may be collected solely for the purpose of performing specific functions for you, e.g., remembering your entry to the Service or remembering the subpages browsed within the Service. Such data is encrypted in a way that prevents unauthorized persons from accessing it.

3. The Service respects your privacy and protects your personal data that you provide to us. By reading this privacy policy, you will obtain information on how we process your personal data while you visit our website https://pure-stone.org/ or when you make donations to the Foundation.

Processing of personal data should be understood as any operations performed on personal data, such as collecting, recording, storing, organizing, altering, disclosing, and deleting in a traditional form and in IT systems.

The Privacy Policy of the Service has been developed in accordance with the provisions on personal data protection, taking into account in particular the requirements for personal data controllers set out by the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: “GDPR”).

4. The controller of personal data in the Service is the PURESTONE FOUNDATION indicated in point 1 of this Policy. The Controller processes your personal data in the manner specified in the subsequent provisions.

5. During your visit to the Foundation’s website (in the Service), data regarding your visit is collected automatically, e.g., your IP address, domain name, browser type, operating system type. The legal basis for processing this personal data is Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR (processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation).

6. In the event that you contact us and provide us with your personal data (i.e., identification data – e.g., name and surname, PESEL number, ID card number or contact details – residential address, e-mail address, phone number) in order to make a donation to us or to contact the Foundation, ask us questions, e.g., about our initiatives, we will process your personal data: a) in order to conclude a donation agreement with you (the legal basis for processing your personal data as a User for this purpose is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) or b) in order to answer your questions (the legal basis for processing in this case is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, i.e., our legitimate interest consisting in communicating with users).

Your data will be transferred to the Foundation’s employees and persons acting on behalf of the Foundation in order to conclude and perform the Donation Agreement concluded with you (if we conclude an agreement in the form of a notarial deed, which will not be a frequent case), and also for the purpose of corresponding with you (if you direct inquiries to us, e.g., by e-mail or telephone).

Your data is not transferred to third countries; it is processed on servers in Poland.

8. Your personal data will be processed for the time necessary to perform the donation agreement, for the time to respond to your inquiries, and furthermore for the period necessary to fulfill legal obligations towards authorities, in particular tax authorities.

9. The Service’s databases are protected against access by unauthorized third parties. Your personal data provided during Registration is encrypted in a way that prevents it from being read by unauthorized persons.

10. You have the following rights regarding your personal data: a) the right to access your data and receive its first copy free of charge (the cost of preparing subsequent copies may be charged to you, provided that the requests are evidently unjustified or excessive), b) the right to rectify (correct) your data, c) the right to request deletion, restriction, or to object to their processing (the right to object for reasons related to your particular situation applies to the processing of data which is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Controller or by a third party), d) the right to data portability, e) the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority within the meaning of Article 77 of the GDPR (The supervisory authority in Poland is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, correspondence address: ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).

11. There is no automated decision-making regarding your data; the Foundation as the Controller does not profile data.
